A highly waterproof and windproof membrane which is environmentally friendly, cost effective and windproof. This membrane will prevent rain and water from entering the fabric of the boots and draw moisture away from the foot - keeping your feet at the right temperature all day.
Thinsulate insulation traps air molecules between yoru feet and the boot resulting in warmer boots. The more air trapped the more insulation. Thinsulate insulation microfibres are a lot finer than other insulations, resulting in trapping more air in a smaller space.
Agion antimicrobial technology reduces the amount of microbe growth (i.e. single cell organisms) keeping the inside of the boots cleaner for longer. Resulting in less odour!
Good country boot
Very purposeful and great value
I was attracted to these boots because I prefer 'high' boots that my gaiters overlap by several inches, and also the rubber rand to strengthen and waterproof between the sole and uppers. The Vibram sole is satisfyingly stiff so I can walk properly, rolling on the ball of my foot. They are surprisingly light and comfortable straight out of the box !!! I've already 'fed' the uppers with conditioning cream and I have high hopes that they won't split across the toes like my last two pairs of boots made by other manufacturers - I'll let you know !!!
