The main fabric contains 94% polyamide and 6% elastane, providing flexibility for walking and active outdoor use. The seat, knees and hems feature 300D ripstop polyester reinforcements with a polyurethane coating, adding protection where the fabric is more likely to encounter abrasion and damp surfaces.

These reinforcements do not make the entire trousers waterproof. For prolonged rain or particularly wet conditions, fully waterproof overtrousers would be a more suitable choice.
