    Iv only worn the boots for 1 week but they fit very well and are very comfortable. They look smart and lace up neatly nice and snug. They are quiet to walk around in and whilst I have them mainly for work (private country estate) I will certainly use them when deer stalking. The soles are not the hardest and I have noticed the sharpness of a few large chips/stones. For whatever reason the tread also seems to easily collect small stones chips, which Iv had to pick out but only the occasional one or two. All in all I am very pleased with their comfort and light weight. The higher than normal rand around the sides should help with the water tightness, although I hope they are water tight as described. Certainly value for money and look a well made boot.

    Nice pair of boots, lightweight and sturdy. No breaking in needed. Straight out of the box to the field. Have only had them a few weeks and have worn them everyday and have proved comfortable. The extra length compared to ankle high boots is great over rough and uneven terrain, providing good ankle support, ideal for training a working dog. Not really had a chance to see how waterproof they are as the weather has been dry and the ground not as saturated, hence the 4 stars. How well they will hold out, only time will tell but with a bit of looking after and the leather treated every once in a while they should see me well for a good few years.

High Leg Waterproof Boots for Rough Country

The Grisport Gamekeeper is designed for people who spend long periods walking and working across rough countryside. The 10-inch leather upper gives added coverage when moving through wet grass, bracken and undergrowth, making these boots well suited to shooting, beating, gamekeeping, stalking, dog walking and general country use.

A protective rubber scuff rand helps protect the leather from abrasion caused by rough vegetation such as gorse and bracken. The full leather bellows tongue extends up the boot to help prevent water and debris entering around the laces, while the waterproof and breathable Spotex membrane provides further protection in wet conditions.

Grip and Stability on Uneven Ground

The deep-cleated Vibram Ultimate rubber sole provides grip and traction across muddy and uneven ground. Grisport's R-System anti-twist support helps improve underfoot stability, while the triple-density midsole absorbs walking impact. The Gamekeeper is also built on a wider-fitting last to provide additional room through the foot.

The upper is made from 3mm waxed and oiled Italian Dakar leather. Regular care will help maintain the leather and its water resistance. Use Grisport Waterproofing Cream to clean and condition the leather as required.

With its high-leg design, waterproof construction and protective leather upper, the Gamekeeper is a practical alternative to a standard ankle-height walking boot when you need extra coverage on rough country terrain.
