Second pair of Griport. Previous pair gave many years of good service and I have no doubt this new pair will be the same. Immediately comfortable to wear and Cherry Tree have proved to be cheaper than other suppliers of Griport.

This is a tough, comfortable hiking boot which looks good and seems to wear well. Perhaps 2 weeks is too soon for a definitive verdict, but they have kept me dry in the autumn rain and mud for the last few weeks. Recommended

Uppers and Downers
This is the fourth pair of this product that I have bought. The first 2 wore out after much hard use and I had no hesitation in buying pair number 3. However this pair have let me down with the rubber edging coming away from the upper on the outside of the shoe thereby rendering them leaky. I have tried to restick this with little success as yet. Despite this I was tempted to give them another go as they are very comfortable and perform a job for me as I live in a rural area and they act as a day to day shoe. I just hope my experience will be as for the first 2 pairs and not the third.

Love these walking shoes. They're robust but completely comfortable. I've never had to break them in and am already at one with them. They're as good as anything the Brits or Germans can produce at a much better price. Highly recommend *****
