Men’s Shooting Jackets – Very reasonably priced – under £100.00
The shooting jackets discussed in this section have been designed and manufactured to provide warmth, comfort and protection at all times – even in those toughest of environments! Although very reasonably priced, these jackets have not been designed using sub-standard quality fabrics! In fact, these really well priced garments pleasantly surprised us when we realised what fantastic detail and technology top brands such as Highlander and Hoggs of Fife have incorporated into them!
The Highlander Rexmoor Jacket (Camouflage)
This is an outstanding waterproof and breathable outer-shell jacket now available in the new camouflage colour – ‘Tree Deep’. It’s packed with many features and is perfect for stalking, shooting or beating.
The Rexmoor jacket has been designed using a soft -peach, ‘silent’ fabric which sits comfortably over a fleece or jumper. It has a fully waterproof and breathable membrane, with a Hydrostatic Head (HH) value of 5000mm [find out what HH means here] This shooting jacket will keep you dry whilst at the same time keeping your body temperature cool all day long!
The jacket also has a fully lined hood, multiple inner and outer pockets, elasticated cuffs and an adjustable waist and adjustable hem.
There are also matching Rexmoor Tree Deep trousers available, which have been designed using the same soft-peach, silent fabric which are also fully waterproof and breathable.

The Hoggs of Fife Brora Jacket

The Brora shooting jacket from Hoggs of Fife offers plenty of warmth… without bulkiness!
It’s design includes a fleece inner lining and is just perfect for those cold days when out and about. Hoggs has focused its attention on providing a shooting jacket that is both fully waterproof and breathable. What’s more, the outer layer has been treated to make it rain and stain resistant.
As you would expect from a shooting jacket, the Brora has many ‘key wear’ areas reinforced for durability. For example, the shoulder area, and wrist and arm areas have been reinforced with a tougher fabric for longer lasting wear.
Designed with numerous pockets, including chest hand-warmer pockets, and large bellowed pockets, this jacket really is a fantastic product. And, to match the jacket, Hoggs of Fife also offers Brora over-trousers!

The design includes many pockets and, for example, on the jacket there are large bellowed pockets with retaining straps for quick access, zipped hand-warmer pockets with moleskin lining and various internal pockets to keep valuable items safe and dry.
Both the Gadwall jacket and trousers have been made from a peach fabric that is very soft to the touch and looks simply great! The Strathmoor ‘jacket and trouser set’ from Hoggs of Fife is a highly specified waterproof, windproof and breathable shooting set, made from strong peached microfibre shell fabric that is highly durable, quiet to use and soft to the touch!
Giving extra protection, Strathmoor garments have been treated with a rain and stain resistant water repellent that is highly breathable. Once again, the Strathmoor jacket has been designed with the key features required of a shooting jacket, such as elasticated inner storm cuffs, a nylon drip strip (to prevent moisture wicking into the body of the garment) and a fully adjustable and detachable hood.
The trousers have been made from the same strong peached microfibre shell fabric and have reinforced and actuated knee panels for extra durability.
