A baselayer is the layer which lies against the skin. This layer is designed to trap a thin layer of warm air against the skin and wick away (draw moisture) moisture from the body.

We currently stock two types of base layer ā€“ bamboo and polyester.

A Bamboo base layer have many benefits for you and for the environment.

Allergic to wool or hemp?

If you have allergic reactions to other natural fibres such as wool or hemp then try bamboo. Research has shown that many people who have experienced some allergic reactions to other natural fabrics do not complain about bamboo. This could be due to the naturally smooth fabric which means there are no irritating spurs to aggravate the skin.
