How can Anatom boots and shoes be soooo comfortable?
When planning and designing walking boots and shoes, Anatom boots and shoes have been designed from 'the inside out'. By carefully incorporating an inner sock liner it prevents uncomfortable ridges, grooves and bumps whilst offering breathability and temperature control.
Utilising the inner tri.aria membrane enables Anatom to create a highly comfortable and sustainable interior, as shown below.
How can Anatom guarantee its boots and shoes are hardwearing?
Extensive testing has taken place on a number of conditions in four of the toughest environments in Scotland, the North West Highlands & Islands, the Cairngorms, the west highlands and the Borders. Each region has its own challenges and its own terrain with its own soil, rocks and micro-climate to deal with and by making design adjustments these boots can withstand any condition.
How can Anatom guarantee its boots and shoes are supportive?
A unique Anaflex midsole has been used to ensure the performance of the footwear. This midsole has been designed for use on rugged terrain and offers three key areas of support:
 |
1. Underfoot protection
Adequate underfoot protection has been built in to prevent stones and hard surfaces from bruising the foot and helps to reduce any unnecessary foot fatigue
|
 |
2. Torsional Rigidity
The Anaflex midsole ensures the foot flexes adequately to ensure stability, giving you plenty of support when crossing slopes or tricky terrain
|
 |
3. Forefoot Flex
The midsole offers stability and security on uneven ground whilst reducing foot fatigue by allowing sufficient foot flex.
