now on my second of this jacket, and exactly like the first is not waterproof, lets water in on shoulders/neck and chest/stomach, strange exact same issue with 2 of this jacket now

Perfect for the scottish summer!
Lightweight waxed jacket which keeps me dry as bone even in the heaviest of downpours. Decided to get the non padded jacket so I could wear it all year round, this has proven to be a sound decision. Bought a size up so that in winter I can wear a padded fleece jacket underneath. Looks good as well as being extremely functional.

What do you mean, you don't own this jacket?
This is my first Fife wax jacket. I wish I had discovered it decades ago. That way I would not have wasted 1000 UK pounds over the years for four jackets from our other wax jacket famous friend with the royal warrant. The deep green/black is immensely sexier that that green used by our friend. Heavyweight wax cloth weight not available from any other maker. CherryTree made the whole purchase fun and fast. I can't wait to order another Hoggs jacket from them, but I doubt the one I have will ever wear out. Oh, don't forget to get the re-waxing tin from Hoggs when you buy your jacket.
